Our friendly team are on hand to answer any questions or queries you have regarding properties, tenants and legal procedures.
Members can call the member helpline, drop into the office for a chat, or email us to benefit from our experience and knowledge.
We have a dedicated support team to offer advice and guidance for any landlord related problems. The helpline is available during office opening hours of Monday to Thursday, 10am – 3pm. Call us on 01204 495595.

Paperwork and agreements
We hold all the documents you may need to create, manage and if required end a tenancy. These documents are stored within the Members Area on this website or they can be emailed directly to you at your request.
The quarterly NWLA Newsletter is completed in-house and is full of information and advice relating to the private rental sector. As well as members, it is also distributed to local authorities and relevant businesses throughout the region. Contributions from members are always welcome.
Copies are sent to all members by post, can be emailed to members on request or viewed in the Members Area.
Regular communications and advice
Our regular emails keep our members updated on the latest changes in legislation, news from the Association and other current events in the private rental sector.
Here at the NWLA office we hold regular Training Workshops on a variety of subjects including ‘Starting & Ending a Tenancy’, ‘Rent Arrears’, ‘Evictions’, ‘Good Management & Practice’ and other relevant topics. These two hour training sessions are popular with new landlords and also the more experienced landlord as the law is constantly changing it is beneficial to keep informed. These sessions can contribute to your Continuing Professional Development record.
We hold monthly meetings at venues in Bolton and Manchester that are open to members and non-members.
We have a selection of topical speakers from various different landlord sectors. The meetings are well attended by members and are a good way to network with other like-minded landlords.
